🎯 Freshers Resume లో చేసే Common Mistakes – Real Experiences తో!

Hello friends! ఇది నేను చాలా students లో observe చేసిన topic. Resume అంటే ఒక paper, కానీ ఇది career కి entry ticket. అసలు college లో ఉండగానే చాలామందికి resume అంటే proper idea ఉండదు. నేనూ మొదట్లో చాలా silly mistakes చేసాను. But slowly, correct structure, actual learning మరియు recruiters ఏమి చూస్తారు అన్నది అర్థం చేసుకున్నాను.

ఇక్కడ నేను common mistakes + correct way explain చేస్తున్నా – ఎవరైనా fresher or final-year student అయితే 100% useful అవుతుంది.

❌ Mistake 1: Resume ను Copy-Paste చేయడం

Internet లో ఏదో random resume తీసుకుని పేరును మార్చి use చేయడం. Same structure, same words, same objective – reject!

✅ Tip: మీ own strengths, own projects, మీ tone లో resume prepare చేయండి.

❌ Mistake 2: Certifications Overload

“Udemy 10 courses complete చేశాను” – Too many lists.

✅ Tip: Pick 2–3 meaningful ones. One tech, one platform-based, one soft skill. Highlight one project per course if possible.

❌ Mistake 3: Fancy Resume Templates

Colors, borders, emojis – ATS reject అవుతుంది.

✅ Tip: Use simple layout with fonts like Calibri or Arial. One page. PDF format.

❌ Mistake 4: Common Objective Lines

“To work in a challenging environment…” అందరు common objective lines use చేస్తారు so it is overused. ఇది textbook sentence. 90% resumes లో ఇదే line ఉంటుంది.

✅ Actual Tip:
Write something like:

“Looking to apply my Python and SQL skills in a dynamic software development environment and grow with continuous learning.”

👉 Reflect your interest, not someone else’s template

❌ Mistake 5: Unnecessary Personal Info

Father’s name, DOB, religion – skip.

✅ Tip: Just include Name, Phone, Email, LinkedIn/GitHub.

❌ Mistake #6: Projects లేదు అని Blank

చాలా మంది “Projects – NA” అని రాసేస్తారు. ఇది serious mistake.

✅ Actual Tip:
Even a basic mini project or clone (Ex: Calculator using HTML/CSS, CRUD app using Python Flask) చెయ్యండి.
Small idea works – but explain it confidently.

❌ Mistake 7: Soft Skills ను Fake గా Mention చేయడం

“Leadership, Critical Thinking, Adaptability…” – ఇవన్నీ textbook words.

✅ Actual Tip:
Use examples instead:

“Worked with a 3-member team to build a mini project – learned coordination and version control with GitHub.”

👉 That is a soft skill shown via action!

❌ Mistake 8: Resume File Name

Recruiters కి hundreds of resumes వస్తాయి. మీరు ఎవరో గుర్తు ఉండాలి.

✅ Actual Tip:
Save as: YourName_Fresher_Resume.pdf
Ex: RaviKumar_CSE_Fresher_Resume.pdf

❌ Mistake 9: Fake Information or Exaggeration

“I know Java, Python, C#, React, Node.js, Machine Learning…”
🤦‍♂️ Practically cheyyaledu, just heard names!

✅ Actual Tip:
Mention only what you really practiced or built something with. Interview లో proof అడుగుతారు

✅ Last & Most Important: No LinkedIn? No GitHub?

Students assume “only experienced people need LinkedIn”. ఇది myth.

✅ Actual Tip:

• LinkedIn లో profile create చేసి, projects or learning journey post చెయ్యండి.
• GitHub లో code push చేసి, link resume లో include చేయండి.
